Meg Stevenson
Meg has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for over 20 years, since her first experience on the mat transformed her outlook on life. Yoga quickly became her sanctuary—a space for profound self-connection and discovery. This journey instilled a deep sense of peace and gratitude, leading her to transition from a background in psychology to a calling as a yoga instructor.
Her training spans the globe, having studied under some of the most respected leaders in the industry. This diverse and well-rounded education allows Meg to make yoga accessible to practitioners of all levels, with a focus on both physical and mental well-being.
Over her 18 years of teaching, Meg noticed a disconnect between the industry’s push for intensity. Meg shares her unique approach: a blend of stability, strength, and precise, intentional cuing that invites students to explore how each posture feels in their unique bodies, rather than focusing solely on appearance. Her sessions empower students to realize their physical potential while delving into the deeper aspects of yoga, encouraging them to carry these teachings into daily life and live from the heart.

Community
Committed to empowering the world, we dedicate ourselves to fostering positive change, one vinyasa at a time. Each opportunity to serve our community is regarded as a blessing and a privilege, driving our passion for making a meaningful impact.
Through our Karma Yoga Program, we are dedicated to making the transformative practice of yoga accessible to those who need it most. By organizing weekly yoga programs and fundraisers, we aim to provide ongoing support. Our overarching goal is to expand the reach of the Karma Yoga Program, ensuring free yoga classes are accessible all over the city, thereby making the profound benefits of yoga available to everyone in our community.
Wellspring Alberta
Wellspring Alberta stands as an exceptional haven for individuals confronting cancer, providing crucial support. At Strength and Grace Yoga, we extend our commitment by hosting a complimentary weekly yoga class within their remarkable facility. We've gone the extra mile by raising funds to furnish their space with an array of yoga props, facilitating a supported practice that mirrors the quality of service we offer at Strength and Grace Yoga.
As we continue to contribute, we eagerly anticipate engaging in numerous fundraisers ahead. Whether you seek support or wish to volunteer your time, we wholeheartedly recommend Wellspring Alberta—an extraordinary place we are privileged to be associated with.
